Cayapa Heroica strengthens technology in health centers in Mérida

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out a key intervention promoting the Health Program for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis, at the Rafael Rangel Type I Hospital of the Autonomous University Hospital of Los Andes (Iahula), located in Mérida.

In this regard, technicians from the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite Mérida) carried out an approach to the program facilities, carrying out preventive hardware and software maintenance on eight computer equipment that support critical areas such as the ART pharmacy, ITS office, Statistics and Health Registry, HIV Pediatrics and Regional Coordination.

These units, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, serve the population of Merida and the inhabitants of the entire west of the country, guaranteeing the quality and continuity of health care.
