CELARG has opened registrations for the new season of literary workshops 2025-2026

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG) announced the beginning of the registration process for a new season of literary workshops, corresponding to the period 2025-2026, which will be open until September 30.

These training spaces, coordinated by professionals with extensive experience, seek to offer a critical perspective in various areas of the literary field. Those interested should send the documents and registration requirements to the email [email protected].

The workshops, designed for participants, cover disciplines such as screenwriting and audiovisual production, cultural criticism, poetry, essay and narrative. The sessions will begin the second week of October, which begins on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Below are the registration requirements for each workshop:

• Screenwriting and audiovisual production workshop: Coordinated by José Antonio Varela. Enrollment requirements: Synopsis or short story, curriculum review, copy of ID, contact details and interview.
  
  
• Cultural criticism workshop: Coordinated by Antonio Núñez Aldazoro. Enrollment requirements: Critical text, curriculum review, copy of ID and contact details.
  
  
• Poetry workshop: Coordinated by Leonardo Ruiz. Enrollment requirements: Sample of poems, text of expectations, curriculum review, copy of ID and contact details.
  
  
• Rehearsal workshop: Coordinated by Carlos Ortiz. Registration requirements: Two published texts, curriculum review, copy of ID, contact details and interview.
  
  
• Narrative workshop: Coordinated by María Elvira González. Enrollment requirements: Short story or text of expectations, curriculum review, copy of ID and contact details.
