The representatives of the nations that make up the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations (UN) and members of the Venezuelan diplomatic corps, held an event to commemorate the International Day against Unilateral Coercive Measures.

The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his account on the social network Telegram, in which he noted that the event was attended by the vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.

He emphasized that the ultimate purpose of these measures is “with the intention of imposing regime changes and subduing the sovereign institutions of nations.”

In the publication, Gil said that “these measures are illegal and constitute an aggression as harmful as conventional war, which turns the Peoples of the nations of the Global South into objectives of economic war, violating the right to development and economic prosperity.”

“Enough of Unilateral Coercive Measures!” , he ruled.
