Chancellor Gil: Our response to aggression must be the revolutionary offensive

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, called for the consolidation of a movement of progressive forces in Latin America and the Caribbean to face the aggressions of the United States (USA) against the region.

During the installation of the Assembly of the Peoples for the Sovereignty and Peace of Our America, in Caracas, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister pointed out that “here there is an indomitable people that refuse to be dominated and that is moving forward with a firm step. Our response to aggression must be the revolutionary offensive,” he emphasized.

He stated that this event must lead to “the construction of movement, the construction of concrete options to respond not only to imperialism, but to its allies, to its operators in our countries, who we know are some of the most disastrous things that have happened and who are the same operators who have been against and were against the independence of our people 200 years ago.”

“So we hope that something concrete will come out of here. The constitution of the Assembly of the Peoples, the Assembly of Caracas, where all the sovereign, progressive, independent forces of love for our America come together,” he stressed.
