The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, rejected the interventionist statements made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Mélanie Joly, against the country.
“The Director of International Relations of the government, who now assumes the 51st State of the United States of America, continues to crawl and humiliate herself before the world. He doesn't know who governs his state and he intends to give an opinion about a country that is Sovereign and Independent, ” said Gil.
The statements of the head of Venezuelan diplomacy are due to a publication by Joly through the social network X in which he expresses his support for the far-right Edmundo González, an action that shows the ignorance of Venezuelan democracy.
“ Zero dignity and morality to talk about a revolutionary democracy like the Venezuelan one,” Gil said.
