The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a meeting, this Saturday, August 24, with the international observers invited to the second National Popular Consultation.

On his Telegram channel, Gil showed part of the activity, carried out at the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, where they discussed how the People will exercise their democracy by choosing priority projects for their communities, which will receive funding from the Bolivarian Government.

He said that international oversight will make it possible to certify to the world that the Venezuelan Electoral Power is democratic, safe, reliable and, consequently, transparent.

“The observers will ascertain the truth and will mass it (...) What are they going to see? , they will see a people trying to build their destiny, within the framework of a revolutionary process that does not allow itself to be defeated. You will also see a cheerful, peaceful people who are on the street trying to rebuild the aftermath of the blockade and the aggressions,” gestated from the White House, he said.

In addition, Gil took advantage of the meeting to, once again, denounce to the international community “the cyber-fascist and criminal coup d'etat that Venezuela is facing, orchestrated by the right wing and the United States. An attack that we will defeat by exercising more popular democracy.”
