Chancellor Gil: We celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Iran

From his telegram channel, the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, celebrated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Iran

“We celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, marking a horizon of solid friendship and strategic cooperation in fundamental sectors such as energy, science, technology, health, agriculture and industry. Our alliance was strengthened in 2022 with the signing of the 20-year Strategic Cooperation Agreement, a commitment that we will continue to consolidate and expand for the benefit of both peoples. Today, our peoples are united in an eternal fraternity, forming a common anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist front, in defense of their legitimate interests and sovereignty,” he said.

In this regard, Gil wrote “on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we send affectionate greetings to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as to President Masoud Pezeshkian and all his distinguished government, reiterating our solidarity and commitment to the friendship that unites us.”

He said that “today, our peoples are united in an eternal fraternity, forming a common anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist front, in defense of their legitimate interests and sovereignty.”
