Chancellor Yván Gil: The peoples of the world will always triumph (+Anti-Fascist International)

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, ratified this Wednesday the call to the peoples of the world to face fascism in all its expressions.

“From the governments of the world, there is a route that is true union, embracing these anti-fascist, anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist values. And on the other hand, the organized people, mobilized in all our countries,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister during the installation of the Organizing Committee of the Anti-Fascist International, in Caracas.

He stressed that “this effort launched by President Nicolás Maduro and which has been supported by all of you here in Caracas, as the Anti-Fascist International, is called to mobilize all the peoples of the world, precisely to combat fascism.”

Gil said that in Latin America the peoples are still fighting for the definitive independence of the region, “and the vassals of the colonization, who are the same people who endure fascism, are now allied with current North American imperialism (...) They have developed a great capacity to dominate, to bomb, to bring death to different parts of the world, but they will not be able to. The peoples of the world will always triumph.”

He emphasized that no empire has been able to defeat peoples, “and we should be proud today in this team that promotes the Anti-Fascist International to be the vanguard of the vanguard. We are called to show the path we must follow.”
