The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, rejected this Friday the statements of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, regarding the ignorance of Venezuela's institutions and the elections of July 28, in which President Nicolás Maduro was re-elected.

In a message released on his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister criticized that “the shameless Borrell, the same one who has been bringing the European Union to the brink of collapse for years, the one who kneels before the massacre and genocide in Palestine and the one who failed to promote a clown like Guaidó in Europe, now seeks to ignore the democratic institutions of Venezuela”.

He stressed that the comments of the European official are irrelevant because democracy and the Constitution triumphed in Venezuela during the last election day, so he urged him to dedicate his last days in office to “assuming all the defeats he won, leave us alone, enough of so much interference”.

“We will respect Revolutionary Democracy, no self-conscious and criminal, more concerned with satisfying the interests of their masters, will be able to attack the people of Hugo Chávez. His new Guaidó also failed!” , he emphasized.
