China allocates 28 million dollars to rehabilitate flood-affected areas in the country

This Thursday, the National Development and Reform Commission (CNDR) designated 200 million yuan (28 million dollars) to help with repairs in the flood-affected provinces of Liaoning and Jilin, in northeastern China.
In this regard, the CNDR specified that the funds it allocated to the emergency rehabilitation of affected dams, roads, schools and hospitals.
Torrential rains recently hit sectors of Liaoning and Jilin, causing power cuts and interruptions in communications and transportation, according to a note from Xinhua.
