China—Venezuela Friendship Square inaugurated in La Cota Mil

This Tuesday, December 02, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, together with national authorities and the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, led the inauguration of the China-Venezuela Friendship Square, located on Boyacá Avenue, known as La Cota Mil.
Meléndez said that this Plaza will open spaces for sharing and exchanging cultures, between both nations, reaffirming the historic bonds of solidarity and brotherhood.
He assured that in every square in Caracas every day there will be a cultural activity, to experience the family encounter.
He also indicated that the union between China and Venezuela must be forever in all times and circumstances, with the purpose of consolidating better relations at all times, based on friendship, cooperation and mutual solidarity.
For his part, the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the creation of the China-Venezuela Friendship Square, which reaffirms the ties of brotherhood and cooperation between the Asian giant and the Homeland of Bolivar, a space for enjoyment, recreation and culture.
He said that both nations are guarantors of peace and development for their inhabitants.
The space was carefully rescued and rehabilitated to become a sports and recreational center of great importance for the Caracas community, offering a meeting place that promotes culture, leisure and social integration.
