CICPC apprehended four extortionists in Aragua

Officials from the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) arrested four dangerous extortionists in the state of Aragua.

According to the director of this detective body, C/G Douglas Rico, the detainees were responsible for contacting business owners, in the municipality of Girardot, Maracay, in order to obtain illegal payments in exchange for allowing them to work normally affecting merchants.

“After the capture, several cell phones were located, which are undergoing special expertise for the extraction of important information for investigations, cash and the recovery of two motorcycle-type vehicles used as means of committing the crime,” Rico said on his Instagram account.
