CICPC apprehended two Colombians with 970 kilos of drugs

Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) seized 970 kilos of drugs in a proceeding carried out in Cumaná, Sucre state.
This was reported by the director of this detective body, C/G Douglas Rico, who indicated that the drugs were found in a house under construction located on the Cumaná-Carupano National Highway, El Peñón sector, Valentín Valiente parish, Sucre municipality of the aforementioned entity.
The drug was in the possession of two Colombian citizens who were seized and placed under the command of the Public Ministry.
Also, in the above-mentioned procedure, the uniformed officers seized eight fuel drums, which, allegedly, would be used by these criminals to travel by sea to the state of Nueva Esparta.
