CICPC arrested responsible for a homicide in Maracay

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), attached to the Maracay Municipal Delegation, were able to arrest José Daniel Quijada Silva responsible for the murder of a man in the Girardot municipality.

According to information published on the Instagram account of the director of this police force, Douglas Rico, the motive for the incident was “an old debt in the amount of 5 American currencies”.

“Thanks to an exhaustive work of technical scientific expertise and eyewitness interviews, it became known that the victim was approached by the detainee, who demanded payment of a debt, giving rise to a fight; the victim was mortally attacked by José Quijada, who gave him a penetrating puncture wound to the chest, and then fled in an unknown direction,” Rico reported.

It was also known that the victim was taken by neighbors and family members to San José Social Security, where he died at the time of being treated.
