CICPC arrested two women for human trafficking in Carabobo

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), stationed in the state of Carabobo, rescued two victims of a human trafficking network and apprehended two women who were engaged in recruiting girls, young people and adults, in order to be exploited.
The information was released through a publication by the commissioner general of this body, Douglas Rico, who specified that the detainees were identified as: Bárbara Alejandra Contreras Díaz (18) and Willianni Daniela Salón Durán (18)” who “were part of a national network dedicated to trafficking in persons, whose criminal participation is responsible for capturing victims through deception and offers of large sums of money in exchange for carrying out various tasks; however, once in their possession, they are subject to exploitation in hotels, warehouses and clandestine parties, receiving a percentage of money according to the service to which they were forced”.
He also added that the arrest occurred in the Los Caobos sector, Miguel Peña parish, Valencia municipality, Carabobo state.
