CICPC awarded officials in the framework of the institution's 24th Anniversary

The director of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC), Commissioner Douglas Rico, led this Tuesday, November 25, the award ceremony for the officials of that institution in the framework of the celebration of the 24th Anniversary of its creation.

Rico addressed a few words to the professionals who put scientific and technological knowledge into practice every day to ensure the safety of citizens, in recognition of their work.

The winners received the diploma of Honor of Merit in their first, second and third classes, commissars, inspectors and detectives, as well as officials who, in carrying out the duty of the Republic, have been injured in various operations and confrontations with criminal gangs.

In addition, he asked the officials of this police body to commit to 21st Century Socialism and loyalty because “doubting is treason”.

He said that we must adapt to 21st Century Socialism, which “no longer goes with the old school, and those who do not adapt must give way to the new generation, where we are all, but we must open our minds and understand that the country is currently under total siege and that is where the phrase comes out: 'doubting is treason'”.

“Commissars, chief inspectors, chief commissioners, general commissioners, men and women... Loyalty is an obligation, not a choice. Whoever is not loyal should step aside. The one who is not loyal is the first to betray. They have called some offering to change their name and go to other countries, in exchange for information,” he said.

He said he was not sure if it happened, but that if someone is part of that conspiracy, if they have called him, “let him say so, because the traitor will end up crucified by the others who saw that betrayal.”
