CICPC disbanded the El Viejo de La Raja criminal gang in Bolívar

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), who are prominent in the state of Bolívar, succeeded in dismantling the El Viejo de La Raja criminal gang, which operated in the municipality of Gran Sabana.
According to information published on the Instagram account of the general director of the CICPC, Douglas Rico, “a thorough investigative work carried out by commissions of the Municipal Delegation of Santa Elena de Uairén, succeeded in the dismantling of the criminal organization El Viejo de La Raja, made up of seven antisocials who kept the community of sector VII, Riverbanks of the Ikabarú River, Gran Sabana municipality, state Bolivar”.
He also explained that this group “carrying firearms and death threats, kept merchants and inhabitants of indigenous communities flogged, stripping them of their valuable items, creating anxiety in the community, who, in addition, they extorted them demanding large sums of money, hectares of land and mines; they were also engaged in the commercialization of narcotic substances.
The detainees were identified as: Jhonntan Javier Henao Aguilar, Alejandro Jose Quereigua, Yonnar Antonio Rivas Flores, Jesús Manuel Arellano Yeguez, Jan Jairo García García, Leonardo José Castillo Lozano and Miguel David Acive Silvera.
