CNE announced a 42.63% turnout on election day this Sunday

The vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, announced that participation in the electoral process this Sunday, May 25, was 42.63% of the total number of voters.

In this regard, he emphasized that, with a transmission of 93.01% of the polling stations, the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) obtained 4 million 553 thousand 484 votes, which corresponds to 82.68% of the total votes to the deputies to the national award list.

At the same time, he indicated that the Democratic Alliance obtained a total of 344 thousand 422 votes, corresponding to 6.25% of the total votes; while the UNTC UNICA Alliance obtained 285,501 votes, corresponding to 5.18% of the total votes; likewise, the Neighborhood Force Alliance obtained 141 thousand 566 votes, corresponding to 2.57% of the total votes.

He noted that the total of other valid and invalid votes was 182,351, which corresponds to 3.31% of the total number of votes.

For this reason, he assured that of the 50 positions of deputies on the national list, 40 positions of irreversible tendency have so far been awarded.
