The electoral process for the second presidential round in Colombia officially began abroad on June 15, 2026, starting with the opening of the polls at the consulate in Auckland, New Zealand, due to the time difference.
This election day outside the national territory will run until June 21. According to official figures, more than 1.4 million Colombians are authorized to exercise their right to vote in 253 seats and 2,181 voting stations distributed in embassies and consulates around the world.
To ensure transparency and the proper development of the process, the Colombian Foreign Ministry installed a Unified Command Post (PMU) in Bogotá, which carries out permanent monitoring.
The day is also accompanied by the Electoral Observation Mission (EOM) and international missions such as the European Union and the Organization of American States (OAS).
