Commander of ZODI Miranda: We fulfilled the 27 tasks so that the people can continue their normal lives

This Wednesday, October 15, the commander of the Miranda Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), Carlos Aigster, highlighted that, following the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, the 27 operational tasks are being carried out in perfect popular-military-police fusion for the protection of the People.

“We are already fulfilling each of the tasks; this organization is not sequential nor is it linear; we started with the security of public facilities and with the assurance of all the strategic stations and industries that are in the state,” he said during the activation of the Management Bodies for Integral Defense (ODDI) in Miranda.

He also indicated that the deployment began with the concentration of resources and the dispersion of equipment to carry out the tasks and “avoid systematic wear and tear and the air campaign on the part of the North American empire.”

He recalled that the state of Miranda supplies electricity to a vast amount of the capital. At the same time, he indicated that he carried out “the assurance of all tactical directions of approach, with the placement of means with a phased and in-depth defense.”

He reaffirmed that all these actions are carried out to “avoid the strategic paralysis of the territory and that our people continue to carry out their normal activities. Our territorial defensive system, my captain, allows that, while a force is engaged in combat, the rest of the community, the rest of the people, to continue with their normal lives.”
