Communities in the country's capital are preparing for the second National Popular Consultation

Through social networks, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, shared images of an assembly held in the Altagracia parish to organize the active participation of citizens next Sunday.
This is the organization of the communities of Caracas that are preparing to participate this Sunday, August 25, in the second National Popular Consultation, in which 298 projects will be chosen, one for each communal circuit.
“In an assembly, in the Socialist North Zone Commune, in the Altagracia parish, this August 19, we interacted about this new electoral process. In the campaign that began with banner paintings, with great joy and in leading democracy,” Meléndez said in the publication.
Meléndez highlighted that 161 communes operate in Caracas. In addition, other of
these organizational forms are under construction to
deepen the new policy of strengthening Popular Power.
