Community Fund and PSUV structure plan “Community Hurricane March” in Mérida

This Monday, the 1st took place. State meeting with promoters of the Foundation for the Development and Promotion of Community Power (FUNDACOMUNAL), community liaisons from the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and representatives of the entity's Federal Governing Council.

At this first meeting, the same line of work was established to advance the different organizational processes of Popular Power and the schedule of activities that will take place throughout the state during the month of March was announced, which was called “Community Hurricane March between Andean Mountains”.

The schedule includes Popular Assemblies on March 1 and 2 in all the Communes and Community Circuits to evaluate and approve territorial reengineering, as well as elections for the renewal of the spokespersons of the Community Councils.

For the 9th month, the installation of Promoting Commissions is planned to organize the formation of new Communes, giving priority to the registration of the current Community Circuits, so that they become definitively consolidated Communes, towards the goal of 6,000 Communes throughout the country.

Then, on March 16, the election will take place for the renewal of the spokespersons of the Communes; and for the 23rd the elections for the referendum approving the founding charters and self-government of the new Communes, thus crowning a month of deployment and intense work in Merida.
