The community of Choroní, in the state of Aragua, presented its first tourist route, “Choroní: Art, History and Delights”, led by the talented local craftswoman, Mercedes Araujo, an initiative that received its first official validation during the International Business Roundtable that took place at the Caracas Polyhedron.

The Choroní Route: Art, History and Delights brings together more than 20 artisans, who are dedicated to wood carving, pottery, making sweets and local products. This collaborative effort is designed to offer a unique and memorable experience to those who wish to immerse themselves in local tradition and creativity.

With this route, the region boosts the local economy and provides visitors with the opportunity to interact directly with artisans, as well as to purchase authentic pieces. This tourism validation is a testament to the vibrant spirit of the community and a new chapter in the region's tourism history.

This tour highlights the town's cultural and artisanal wealth, a milestone for sustainable tourism development. The creation of this route emerged from a proposal by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, after recognizing the immense artisanal potential and the quality of the work carried out in this coastal area.
