Community Vacation Plan 2026: Clay craft workshop brought together children, youth and adults in Tacarigua

The Clay Crafts Workshop brought together 17 children, young people and older adults at the Casa de la Cultura de Tacarigua, Brión municipality in Miranda state, as part of the 2026 Community Vacation Plan.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the day combined training and craft practice, with activities focused on mud management.

In addition, the participants learned about the techniques of kneading and preparing clay, and then elaborating traditional figures and their own designs through free modeling.

The activity was made possible thanks to the joint work between the Secretariat of Culture, the House of Culture, the Tacarigua Public Library and Fundapatrimonio Brión, who joined forces to expand the training offer during school holidays.

With this type of initiative, the use of cultural spaces is promoted as points of learning and transmission of knowledge, contributing to the preservation of traditions and craft crafts among new generations.
