Venezuelans cannot allow any foreign power to come to direct our destinies, so we have to unite as patriots to defend the country, said José Gregorio Sánchez, a member of the El Tamarindo Commune of Apure.

“Our country must hurt us all, this is the land of Bolivar and of all those who fought for our independence,” he stressed while stressing that Apure had been the scene of the greatest struggles for our freedom.

In addition, during his participation in the act of handing over patrols to the security forces in the entity, he expressed his support for the National Government to redouble diplomatic actions and achieve the rescue of President Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores, who remain kidnapped in the United States.

“What is President Maduro's sin? His only sin has been to side with the people, not to crack down, not to sell himself, to keep the legacy of our Commander Chávez alive. Those of us who believe in God know that our president will return because there must be justice,” he said.
