The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela will offer a concert in homage to San José Gregorio Hernández and Santa Carmen Rendiles, this Thursday, October 23, at the National Art Gallery (GAN), starting at 4:00pm, with free admission.

The presentation will be under the direction of Maestro Freddy Silva, from the state of Lara, who will conduct a special repertoire with the most emblematic Venezuelan melodies, in tribute to the new figures of holiness who represent the faith, humility and hope of the Venezuelan people.

This musical event is part of the national celebrations following the canonization of Saint Joseph Gregorio Hernández and Saint Carmen Rendiles, an event that took place this Sunday, October 19 at the Vatican.

During the ceremony, Pope Leo XIV officially inscribed them in the Catalogue of Saints of the Catholic Church, declaring that they “be devotedly honored throughout the Universal Church”.

The concert is organized by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela and the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture.

Location: National Art Gallery (Avenida México, Caracas)
