More than 1,300 inhabitants of the Añú village of Laguna de Sinamaica, located in the indigenous Bolivarian municipality of Guajira in the state of Zulia, will benefit from the construction of a community aqueduct.

Through the Lake Maracaibo Hydrological System (HIDROLAGO), more than 1,200 meters of two-inch PED pipes are placed.

“We are grateful for the delivery of this drinking water pipe in its first phase, Mr. President (Nicolás) Maduro, you have the Añú indigenous people of Laguna de Sinamaica and the Tawaruchá commune, we are with you supporting you one hundred percent,” said Mariluz Conrrado, a resident of the town.

As published by the MINAGUAS web portal, these works are being carried out to guarantee water service in this western town.
