In a statement, the airline Copa Airlines announced that it will gradually resume flights to and from Caracas starting next Tuesday.

“Copa Airlines reports that, after the improvement in operating conditions in the Maiquetía airspace, in Venezuela, it will restart its flights to and from the city of Caracas starting Tuesday, January 13 , 2026 on a daily basis,” the company said in a statement, according to a note from Radio Miraflores.

In addition, the Panamanian flag carrier added that, as of January 16, it will restart its second flight, which will operate between three and four weekly frequencies until February 19, and a day later, it will operate on a daily basis.

It should be noted that Copa Airlines announced last Sunday the resumption of its flight to the city of Maracaibo, the only active frequency to Venezuela and whose temporary suspension it had announced on Saturday, amid tensions with the United States.
