The political party Copei, urged Juan Carlos Delpino to put his position to order, as rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), after the statement issued this Monday through his social networks in which he states that he was not in the counting room by his own decision and that he lacks evidence of the alleged fraud that the opposition sang about the electoral results that the CNE announced the night of July 28.

Juan Carlos Alvarado, national secretary of Copei, quoted by the national press, said that “there are important points to highlight, which have different nuances. All the points and irregularities were all included in the electoral schedule, which had 101 phases and rector Delpino mentions at least four. Why did he wait almost a month before the elections to make this statement and did not do it at the time of each phase. It's weird, it's strange, was it a plan?”
He also stated that in this statement Delpino does not mention that the Democratic Unity Bureau (MUD) card did not have the established parameters.
