CORPOELEC denounced a new terrorist attack in Anzoátegui by the extremist right

This Saturday, February 22, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), through a statement, denounced a new terrorist and fascist attack by the extremist right on electrical installations.
In this regard, he pointed out that the extremist right demolished one of the power transmission towers in the state of Anzoátegui, specifically in the town of Barbacoa in Barcelona.
“Right now we have affected the Mezones, Vineyard, La Orquidea, Olympic Village, La Ponderoza, Cruz Verde, Residencia Tamarindo, Moriches, Puente Ayala, José Antonio Anzoátegui and Mayorquín sectors,” the statement highlights.
He points out that “crews from the office together with those of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) are dealing with the damage that affected several residential areas.”
The Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace has been alerted and is in the process of investigating the criminals responsible for the terrorist act.

Today, Saturday 22nd, we denounce a terrorist and fascist attack by the extremist right on our electrical installations.
This time it's about the demolition of one of our electrical transmission towers in the state of Anzoátegui, specifically in the town of Barbacoa, in Barcelona.
Right now we have affected the Mezones, Vineyard, La Orquidea, Olympic Village, La Ponderoza, Cruz Verde, Residencia Tamarindo, Moriches, Puente Ayala, José Antonio Anzoátegui and Mayorquín sectors.
In view of this, the teams of our National Electric Corporation, Corpoelec, and the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy, are dedicated to the solution to carry out the necessary load transfers in the shortest possible time and thus restore electricity service to our people.
In the same way, communication was established with the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace in order to activate all citizen security agencies and find out the whereabouts of those responsible for this criminal act.
From the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy, we reiterate to this group of terrorists that they could not and will not be able to!” We are determined to be free and independent in the hands of our president Nicolás Maduro Moros.
