The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), in response to the requests of the 1×10 of Good Governance, installed 52 transformers to strengthen the stability of the electrical service in 16 municipalities in Tachira with equipment of 25, 50, 37.5 and 100 kVA, during days held during the month of November 2025.
Effective responses by the electric entity for organized communities increase tension levels in the distribution network for the municipalities, Ayacucho, Cárdenas, Fernández Feo, García de Hevia, Guásimi, San Cristóbal, Junín, Libertador, Lobatera, Michelena and Pedro María Ureña.
In this regard, José Rivera, member of the “Centinela de la Popa Community Council”, in the municipality of Cárdenas, stated that the installation of distribution transformers “guarantees us a stable, continuous and efficient electricity service”.
In addition, according to a press release from CORPOELEC, through the territorial approach exercised with the 1×10 of Good Governance, the jurisdictions of Samuel Darío Maldonado, Jáuregui, Seboruco, Sucre and Uribante, belonging to mountain areas, were also favored by the utility of an optimal electricity service.
