CORPOELEC Mérida provides specialized advice on energized lines to Amazonas personnel

In an effort to strengthen the National Electric System (SEN) and promote the exchange of technical knowledge, CORPOELEC Mérida has provided specialized advice on energized lines to personnel from the state power company of Amazonas.

The initiative, promoted by the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services together with Governor Jehyson Guzmán, highlights the experience and high level of specialization of the CORPOELEC Mérida staff in the management of energized lines, a competence that few entities in the country have.

“Mérida is proud to have one of the few teams specialized in energized lines nationwide,” said Marielys Sacipa, Secretary of Public Services of the Government.

The training was carried out at the CORPOELEC facilities in the state of Amazonas and covered topics such as safety when working with energized lines, maintenance and repair techniques, as well as the use of specialized equipment. The staff of this entity had the opportunity to learn from the experience of the technician Eudo García, who is a pioneering instructor in the area, because he thanked the Mérida territorial management for providing him with the opportunity to train other generations at the national level.

“These types of initiatives are essential to strengthen the national electricity system and ensure reliable and safe service for all Venezuelans,” Sacipa added.

The Bolivarian government of President Nicolás Maduro reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting initiatives that promote the training and technical development of personnel in the electricity sector, with the objective of guaranteeing quality service for all citizens.
