Workers from the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) received vehicles to strengthen timely and immediate response to citizen demands related to electric service.

The head of Line Maintenance for the Los Andes region, Daniel Simancas Andrade, explained that with this initiative of the National Government, through the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE) and Corpoelec, not only are operating conditions improved, but also the response provided in the territory.

“In the Los Andes region, there are places that are difficult to access (...) These vehicles have the conditions to be able to carry out operations, maintenance and resolve any faults that may occur in the lines and thus reduce the time required to correct the fault,” he said.

For his part, the head of the Barinas Transmission Line Department, Kilbert Peraza, stressed that with the availability of vehicles, the capacities of workers are expanded to provide an optimal and quality electrical service.

With these vehicles, it will be possible to address “any fault, any new thing that occurs within the state to put the lines into service and ensure optimal and quality service,” he said.

During the delivery of vehicles, the Corpoelec worker, Orlando Hernández, thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the head of Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, for their actions to strengthen the National Electric System (SEN).
