Officials from the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB) dismantled a logistics camp and neutralized two aircraft in Apure state.
According to information issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, the discovery occurred during patrolling and searching in wooded areas of the Codazzi parish, between Puerto Páez and the Buena Vista del Meta sector, Pedro Camejo municipality.
In this regard, it became known that officials detected an abandoned clandestine infrastructure that served as an operations center, where they found hidden two light planes, four large drums and a hammock.
“After technical expertise, the commissions proceeded to the total destruction and incineration of the disabled assets: a white aircraft (registration YV-897) and another gray and white aircraft with red stripes (acronym YV-015). In addition, four drums containing 400 liters of alleged illegal aviation fuel intended to supply units that were used for the illicit trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances were disabled,” the Ministry said.
