Creole delegation shone at the 2025 World Robotics Olympiad

The Venezuelan delegation won one gold medal, four silver and one bronze medal at the 2025 World Robotics Olympiad, held from November 26 to 28 in Singapore and where more than 500 teams from 90 countries participated.

The minister of popular power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, celebrated the performance of the representatives of the National Scientific Seed Program and stressed that the delegation once again demonstrated that Venezuela is an emerging power in robotics and technology.

From his telegram channel, he posted “Once again we celebrate the talent, dedication and capacity for innovation of our youth, who have raised the name of Venezuela in the International Final of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Singapore 2025".

He added that “under the strong support of our President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and within the framework of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, we have consolidated a historic participation that reflects the impetus of our Scientific Seedbeds Program, planting a future from every corner of the country (...)
Our delegation, made up of 9 teams from 6 states of the country, demonstrated once again that Venezuela is a powerhouse in robotics and technology. I want to congratulate in a special way every girl, boy, youth, coach and family who made this feat possible.”
