Venezuelan Diego Castillo was sent to the Triple-A minor league branch owned by the Baltimore Orioles, the Norfolk Tides.
The player in January was taken over by the two New York clubs (Mets and Yankees), but then moved to the Philadelphia and Baltimore Phillies.
Castillo was in 2023 with the Arizona Jingle Bells and left a good offensive line in Triple A, with .313 batting average, 33 doubles, 72 RBIs, 94 scored and .840 OPS with the Arizona Triple-A branch.
Castillo, who can play in several positions, belongs to the Caribes of Anzoátegui in Venezuela, but he had no performance this season.
