After winning the presidency of the Justicialist Party (PJ), the former president of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (CFK), formally assumes the leadership of the opposition group this Wednesday.

The partisan event will be held at the headquarters of the Metropolitan University for Education and Labor (UMET), where the former president will be the only speaker.

The former head of state has the mission of configuring a new unit in the midst of internal tensions and the collaboration of some Peronist leaders with the Government of the extreme right Javier Milei.

“Thank you very much, colleagues. I come to Santiago because I love them very much. But, in addition to loving them, I also come to thank them because Santiago del Estero accompanied, more than anyone else in the entire Republic, the proposals that we came to make to Argentines since 2003,” he said in one of his messages on the social network X.
