The Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, denounced this Tuesday that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) allocated more than 120 million dollars for subversive activities on the island between 2007 and 2013.

Through his account on the social network X, the Cuban diplomat pointed out that it is “unusual” for an official agency to use resources to “support a change of government and enrich those who profit from the suffering of the people.”

USAID allocated 61 million dollars for 142 illegal projects and activities against the Cuban people between 2001 and 2006, said the official who, together with President Miguel Díaz-Canel, has been denouncing the organization's irregularities for years.
