The National Defense Council of Cuba, led by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, evaluated on the night of Wednesday, November 6, the damage caused by Hurricane Rafael, which hit the west of the country intensely.

“Tonight, at the National Defense Council, we evaluated the situation in the west of the country after the passage of hurricane Rafael,” the head of state reported in his X account.

The head of state revealed that as a result of the passing of the meteorological phenomenon, which hit the territory with winds exceeding 100 kilometers per hour, there were “major effects on Artemisa, Mayabeque and Havana”.
