In a resounding rejection of the illegal and criminal blockade imposed by the United States (USA) against Cuba, the Havana waterfront overflowed with people who once again demanded the cessation of this imperialist action.
Through his social networks, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel thanked the revolutionary population for this demonstration.
During the march, it was also called for the exclusion of Cuba from the arbitrary North American list of countries supposedly “sponsors of terrorism”. “We're not terrorists, get us off the list, and #TumbaElBloqueo,” Diaz-Canel wrote.
The Head of State, who accompanied the People in the massive mobilization, pointed out that his country does not have the slightest feeling of hatred or animosity against the American people, but he is firmly opposed to the efforts of his Government to take away sovereignty, independence and socialism, in the face of which he will always find rebellion and intransigence, reports Prensa Latina.
In this regard, he reiterated that Cuba has reached out to all U.S. governments since the triumph of the Revolution, in order to maintain a serious, respectful and equal relationship.
