Cultivators add proposals for the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc

Villegas celebrated the call for debate and collective construction of the political, social and cultural model

As part of the intense days of debate and reflection convened by President Nicolás Maduro, through the Great National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc, various cultural movements and spokespersons participated in a General Assembly to systematize the proposals of the cultural sector.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, from the Juan Bautista Plaza room of the National Library, the cultural authorities present reported that more than 110 days of debates and meetings have been held at the national level, with the active participation of cultural educators and promoters from each region.

The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, celebrated President Nicolás Maduro's call for collective debate and construction of the political, social and cultural model that future generations will star.

“This call is part of the path of collective dreaming and cultures cannot be absent in the face of the paradigms of science and technology that lead to a profoundly unhappy society. Our identity and Venezuelanism make us stronger every day, ” he said.

He pointed out that the purpose is to consolidate the future of a country beyond the existence of the current generation. “This exercise of collectively building the dream of a Venezuela of the future allows us to face with greater clarity and efficiency the problems we carry with us from the past and the present,” he said.

He reaffirmed that it is “a privilege that we have been summoned by the Bolivarian Revolution in this time of difficulties and complexities to dream of that Venezuela that we are going to leave to our sons and daughters, in a fully culturally decolonized Venezuela in 2054 and beyond.”

He highlighted the importance of the People taking ownership of the 8 vertices of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission, and urged new tasks for the coming years.

“In the coming years, we have to set ourselves concrete goals so that our music, songs, dances and rhythms with traditional Venezuelan roots, handicrafts, the festivities of San Juan and San Pedro, and all the demonstrations do not disappear,” he said.
