The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, supervised this Saturday the recovery works of Cumanacoa, in the state of Sucre, in the areas affected by the torrential rains in the month of July.

During the tour, Cabello noted the progress made in the construction of schools, high schools, housing and the recovery of public spaces, in joint work between the People and the Bolivarian Government.

“The Government's obligation is to serve the people and President (Nicolás Maduro) came here and we served the people (...) We have to keep working, no one gives up here. Cumanacoa will be reborn, for now and forever!” , also said the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.

He recalled the commitment made by President Maduro to the Hugo Chávez Project, Cumanacoa Renace, after talking with the inhabitants of the area.

“Here was President Nicolás Maduro in the midst of a tragedy, in full event, in full development, here he made the commitment to build a wall along this axis of the river, this area is where the river emerges most strongly and here goes the wall,” Cabello said.

He highlighted the dedication and effort of each of the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the work being carried out in this area, as well as of the officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) in the work of safeguarding the security of this area.

“We belong to the People and we owe ourselves to the People,” he stressed and maintained that “the People have to feel that the police are their friends, they must understand that the police belong to them. You are from the People.”
