Oil expert David Paravisini highlighted that Venezuela maintains a state policy for energy development in the world.
In an interview on the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he stressed that with this history and the quality of the hydrocarbons that the country has, it allows any contract with Venezuela to be serious.
He exalted that since the late 1930s, Venezuela had already been the world's leading oil exporter. “All the countries that have negotiated with Venezuela on energy issues know that they can count on that pact,” he recalled.
He stressed that the country has great allies such as China, Iran, India, and others, who are committed to the national energy market. “They have a great interest in our crude oil,” he said.
Paravisini noted that the energy market is growing, so he estimated that there will be more than 130,000,000 barrels of oil per day by 2050, which are not only estimates by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), but are also expected by other international energy agencies.
“Nowadays, Venezuela has great workers in the oil industry and policies aligned on the part of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, with the proper development of this industry,” he said.
He also stressed that “the main protagonist has been the Venezuelan people and our political representatives, we must highlight that temperament, there is a quality and that is the resistance of the People”.
He said that the only thing that stops oil production in the country are the constant threats that the Donald Trump administration has against Venezuela.
In that regard, he pointed out that OPEC has been the subject of brutal attacks by the United States, with the purpose of destroying this organization.
