Delcy Rodríguez during the 4th International Coffee Meeting: We are exporting to 16 countries

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that coffee production in the country increased 55% and the planting of this category was located on 250,000 hectares.
During his participation in the IV International Coffee Meeting, Rodríguez pointed out that in Venezuela “we supply the domestic market and the export market, which has experienced a growth boom of more than 500%.”
He said that “today the Venezuelan people can proudly say that thanks to the National Productive Union, we supply ourselves with food and are now in an export process.”
In this regard, he stressed that coffee fulfills all the attributes that President Nicolás Maduro “has requested in the new economic model, which is a diversified economic model.”
“We are exporting to 16 countries in our region, in the Caribbean, in Asia, in Africa, in Europe, in the United States. Well, we are diversifying our markets,” he emphasized.
