During her Annual Message to the Nation, from the Federal Legislative Palace, this Thursday, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that in 2025 all the gasoline consumed in the country was produced.

“Another great achievement of the year 2025. Zero fuel imports. A barrel of gasoline was not imported into Venezuela. All the gasoline that was supplied to the country was produced by the hands of our workers,” said Rodríguez.

He stressed that this is an achievement “that had not been seen in a decade. Zero importation. We produced all the gasoline that the country consumed,” he emphasized.

Direct democracy

In her speech, the president in charge indicated that another achievement was direct democracy, “the model of National Power was consolidated”, which “has its backbone in Popular Power, where approximately 280 million dollars were invested in 35,000 projects, which were directly executed by communes and communal councils.”

With regard to security, he stressed that “Venezuela is calm, calm, safe (...) we have reached three homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. The regional average is 16 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. And the model of Ecuador, a drug trafficker, is 70 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants,” he compared.

“The economic recovery also allowed for quality employment and today there is more formal employment. As income has recovered , formal employment has also recovered,” he added, stating that these are “gross achievements”.
