Delcy Rodríguez: it is impossible to obscure the reality of the people who are once again celebrating democracy today

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed this Sunday that no one can obscure the participation of the People in the regional and legislative elections being held in the country.

“It is impossible to obscure the reality of the Venezuelan people who are once again celebrating democracy today. It is an expansion of the constitutional capacities of our people, of constitutional rights,” Rodríguez said after exercising his right to vote in Caracas.

He stressed that Venezuelans are deployed “in joy, with happiness, they are voting because it is to reaffirm participatory and leading democracy, which in addition, during this year, the Venezuelan people have already attended two popular consultations to decide on the exercise of their projects in the community.”

The senior official of the Bolivarian Government recalled that during this day, “our Executive Authorities, the Legislative Councils, but also a very important election, which is that of the deputies to the National Assembly, are being elected in 24 states of the country.”

He explained that this is “a way of talking to the world about the existence of the Venezuelan people (...) And today the path of peace, of tranquility is ratified”.
