Delcy Rodríguez: More than 2,000 people benefited from plans for emergency seismic care in the last week

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Friday that over the past week more than 2,000 people have benefited through the comprehensive care plans provided by the Executive after the double earthquake of last June 24.

“We have already provided housing to people who are in the temporary camps, who completely lost their housing (...) we are now fully servicing them in the camp, but also in the production and manufacture of new housing to deliver to all Venezuelans who lost their homes in the double earthquake,” he said.

In addition, from the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, during the launch of a subsidised financing plan with the Condominium Boards, he indicated that the Venezuela Renace plan is “recovering infrastructure, recovering buildings, recovering apartments. This week we have already benefited practically more than 2 thousand people. Some who were given housing, others who were able to return to their homes.”

In this regard, he asked the Democratic Coexistence Program to carry out a census, through the Condominium Councils of the affected areas, “to see who needs direct support and that we can move forward.”
