The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Tuesday the commitment of the national
Government to guarantee educational quality for children and young people in the country,
despite the multiple aggressions promoted by the extreme right with the support of North American imperialism.
During the delivery of reclaimed spaces at the National Early Childhood
Education Center (CEIN) Cecilia Pimentel, located in the popular El Valle
parish, in Caracas, Rodríguez highlighted the process of recovering educational facilities through
the Military Community Brigades for
Education and Health (BRICOMILES), with “the union of the students' families, teachers,
Bolivarian National Armed Forces, of the security
agencies all integrated to recover from the injuries
caused by the criminal blockade”.
In this regard, he pointed out that “the extremists who have called for
and continue to demand more sanctions against Venezuela are being defeated because of the
strong will of the Venezuelan people to be victorious, to overcome and, in this
case, to complete a quality educational process, a training process
also for our teachers.”
Rodríguez said that there is comprehensive care “because we know
that the Venezuelan people and especially the workers of the
country have been the main victims of the criminal blockade. When we
see an extremist like (María Corina) Machado asking for more sanctions and
then putting on a holy voice to say 'we are going to attend to the teachers, the
workers', we know that it is a false one, we know that she is lying to the country
because she is one of the main promoters of the criminal blockade against Venezuela,” he criticized.
Finally, he emphasized that the Executive guarantees “that
education is of quality for our children, that Venezuela is a power in
education. We are going to achieve it because here is the will and there is the most
important thing, which is the smile of our boys and girls”.
