Deportivo Táchira won the Futve League Clausura Tournament 2024

Deportivo Táchira won the Closing Tournament of the Futve League 2024, of the Venezuelan First Division, by defeating their Carabobo counterpart 4 x 1 at the Pueblo Nuevo Stadium in San Cristóbal, in the Andean entity.

The first goal for the Aurinegros came in the 45th minute on Bryan Castillo's foot to equalize 1-1, the Carabobo goal opened the scoring in the 29th minute by Gustavo González.

Táchira took advantage of the expulsion of Leonardo Aponte in the 47th minute to fully dominate the match in which Mauricio Cova and Anthony Uribe did the same with two more goals (67' and 94') to seal the match.

With this result, Deportivo Táchira won the FutVe League Clausura Tournament for the eleventh time and qualified for the absolute final that will be decided by the champion of the 2024 season against Carabobo FC himself, the team that won the Apertura.
