This weekend, the deputies to the National Assembly for the state of Aragua were deployed in the state to talk with the population about the election of justices of the peace, which will take place in Venezuela on December 15.
This was reported by the deputy José Gregorio Colmenares, who explained that the consultation process is carried out in the 18 municipalities of the entity and the 188 communal circuits and communes.
“These are meetings that we hold across the state to discuss the regulations and schedule for the election of justices of the peace (...) We discussed the details of the process and discussed with the People the importance of these figures to choose from,” he said.
The parliamentarian said that the objective is to talk with the People, to answer their doubts and to debate in training environments open to anyone who wishes to participate. “We are going to approach communities so that they know what justices of the peace are, how they work and what they are responsible for,” he said, stressing that the meetings will be held on the basis of an extended schedule throughout the state.
